back in 5.

backin5_3 backin5_4 backin5_5 backin5_2 backin5_1 Jeffrey and Josh recently had a show to exhibit their work as sign painters. A little over a year ago, they casually decided to paint the side of a bodega with a positive message. Its goal was to inspire neighborly affection among the patrons who frequent the business. Since then, they've been fortunate enough to have multiple jobs in all kinds of places from a chocolate factory in NYC to our neighborhood's bicycle co-op.

You'd be hard pressed to find two people more dedicated and committed to their craft and it's been a privilege for me to watch their business grow over the past year. It's common to hear sentiments about doing whatever it takes to follow your dreams and pound the pavement, but these two embody those adages unlike any other people I've seen. They work tirelessly to better themselves as sign painters and offer their services, which encourage positivity in the community and amplify the authenticity of local businesses.

They borrow inspiration from vintage signage and their works showcase simple, classic design. If you're interested in reading more about them, head over to their website, which has images of all their jobs and information about how J&S Signs came to be.
